Las Vegas, NV – As the radical left continues to push the normalization of same-sex marriage as settled fact, a new Pew Research Center survey across 25 countries offers a sobering reminder: moral clarity on God’s design for marriage and family has not vanished in America, even if cultural elites pretend otherwise.
The data shows that 39% of U.S. adults still view homosexuality as morally wrong – a figure dramatically higher than in secular strongholds like Germany or Sweden (just 5% each), yet far lower than in nations with stronger traditional values. In many European countries, acceptance is sky-high, but America stands out as a battleground where nearly four in ten citizens refuse to abandon the timeless truth that marriage is the sacred union of one man and one woman.

This Pew report, marking 25 years since the Netherlands first legalized same-sex marriage, notes that the practice is now legal in nearly 40 places worldwide, mostly in Europe and the Americas. Recent additions include Thailand and Liechtenstein in 2025. Yet legality does not equal moral rightness. Support for same-sex marriage in the U.S. hovers around 60-70% in various polls, but the stubborn 39% who see the underlying behavior as morally unacceptable reflects the enduring voice of faith-based Americans who ground their views in Scripture: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24).
For pro-family, pro-life, constitutional conservatives across Nevada and the heartland, these numbers confirm what we have long known – America is not fully surrendered to the sexual revolution. While courts imposed nationwide same-sex marriage through Obergefell in 2015, public opinion has never been unanimous. Millions of believers, traditional families, and patriotic citizens continue to affirm that redefining marriage undermines the natural family, which remains the bedrock of a healthy society and the surest path to raising children with strong moral foundations.

The survey also highlights that men are more likely than women in many nations to view homosexuality as morally wrong, a pattern that underscores natural differences in how the sexes approach these issues. In the United States, this divide reminds us that fathers and mothers play distinct, God-ordained roles in protecting the innocence of the next generation.
True conservatives reject the notion that “progress” means erasing biological reality and biblical authority. Marriage is not a social construct to be reshaped by polls or activist judges – it is a divine institution designed for the flourishing of children, the stability of communities, and the glory of God. While the radical left celebrates every legal victory and cultural shift, faith-filled patriots know that no poll or court ruling can change eternal truth.

As we defend our constitutional republic and the traditional values that made America the world’s last best hope, let us pray for hearts and minds to turn back to the Creator’s perfect design. Strong families built on one-man, one-woman marriage produce strong communities and a strong nation. Nevada families and believers nationwide must continue standing firm – teaching our children, supporting biblical churches, and voting for leaders who prioritize faith, family, and freedom over fleeting cultural fads.
The battle for the soul of marriage is far from over. May we remain faithful witnesses to what God has clearly revealed.
