Las Vegas, NV – In a world that often celebrates rapid cultural shifts away from traditional values, a fresh Pew Research Center survey of 25 nations offers a sobering reminder: millions of Americans still anchor their views in timeless biblical truth and common sense. According to the poll, 39% of U.S. adults say homosexuality is morally unacceptable — a figure far higher than the mere 5% in progressive strongholds like Germany and Sweden, yet dramatically lower than the near-universal rejection seen in places like Nigeria (96%) and Indonesia (93%).
The data, released in early 2026, asked respondents across continents whether certain behaviors, including homosexuality, are morally acceptable, unacceptable, or simply “not a moral issue.” In the United States, roughly 60% viewed homosexuality as either morally acceptable or not a moral issue at all. That leaves a substantial and principled minority — nearly four in ten — who, guided by faith, family tradition, and a reverence for God’s design for marriage and sexuality, continue to call it what Scripture has always called it: contrary to natural law and divine order.

This stands in refreshing contrast to much of Western Europe, where acceptance has been aggressively pushed through media, schools, and government. Yet even globally, the picture is far from the monolithic “progress” narrative we’re often fed. Large majorities in many African, Asian, and Middle Eastern nations view homosexuality as morally wrong, reflecting deeply held religious convictions — whether Christian, Muslim, or traditional — that prioritize the nuclear family as the foundation of a healthy society.
For faith-based Americans, especially those raising children with traditional values, these numbers affirm what many have sensed amid the cultural onslaught: the aggressive promotion of LGBT ideology in classrooms, sports, and entertainment has produced fatigue and pushback, not universal embrace. Parents across Nevada and the heartland are rightly concerned when biological reality is denied, when boys are allowed in girls’ locker rooms, or when young people are rushed into irreversible decisions about their bodies.

Republicans, Protestants, men, and older Americans were more likely to express moral reservations, the survey noted — demographics that form the backbone of the conservative movement and the pro-family cause. This isn’t hatred; it’s love expressed through truth. Loving our neighbors means upholding the Creator’s blueprint for human flourishing: one man and one woman in lifelong covenant, raising the next generation in stability and virtue.
America remains the world’s best and last hope precisely because we still have room for dissent rooted in faith and reason. While Hollywood and coastal elites demand conformity, millions of everyday citizens — churchgoing, Constitution-loving, Pro-Life patriots — refuse to surrender the moral high ground. Polls like this remind us that the silent majority of traditional Americans has not disappeared. We simply need the courage to speak, to vote our values, and to protect our children from ideologies that undermine the family.
