LAS VEGAS – In a powerful primetime address to the nation Wednesday evening, President Donald J. Trump delivered a clear, no-nonsense update on Operation Epic Fury – the decisive military campaign that has, in just one month, reduced Iran’s terror-sponsoring regime to ruins. With the calm strength of a proven leader who puts America First, President Trump celebrated overwhelming victories on the battlefield while reminding every patriot why this fight was essential: to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the world’s number-one state sponsor of terror.
“My fellow Americans, good evening,” the President began, first offering heartfelt congratulations to NASA and the brave crew of Artemis II, whose mission is pushing the boundaries of human exploration further than ever before. But the heart of his message was the thunderous progress in Iran. “As we speak this evening, it’s been just one month since the United States military began Operation Epic Fury,” he declared. “In these past four weeks, our armed forces have delivered swift, decisive, overwhelming victories on the battlefield. Victories like few people have ever seen before.”

Tonight, Iran’s navy is gone. Their air force lies in ruins. Most of the regime’s top terrorist leaders are dead. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ command structure is being systematically dismantled. Missile and drone capabilities have been slashed. Weapons factories and rocket launchers are being blown to pieces. “Never in the history of warfare has an enemy suffered such clear and devastating large-scale losses in a matter of weeks,” President Trump stated. “Our enemies are losing and America… is winning, and now winning bigger than ever before.”
The President wasted no time reminding Americans of the stakes. From his first day on the campaign trail in 2015, he vowed Iran would never obtain a nuclear weapon. For 47 years, this fanatical regime has chanted “Death to America, Death to Israel” while its proxies murdered 241 U.S. Marines in Beirut, armed roadside bombs that killed hundreds of American service members, attacked the USS Cole, and helped orchestrate the barbaric atrocities of October 7 in Israel. The regime even slaughtered 45,000 of its own citizens protesting in the streets. Handing nuclear weapons to such thugs was never an option.

President Trump detailed the decisive actions only he was willing to take. He eliminated Qassem Soleimani – “the father of the roadside bomb” – in his first term. He tore up Barack Hussein Obama’s disastrous Iran nuclear deal, which funneled $1.7 billion in cash to the mullahs and would have left them with a nuclear arsenal years ago. “There would have been no Middle East and no Israel right now,” he warned, “had I not terminated that terrible deal.”
When diplomacy failed and Iran raced toward the bomb anyway, President Trump ordered Operation Midnight Hammer – the breathtaking B-2 bomber strikes that obliterated key nuclear sites. Then came Epic Fury, with crystal-clear objectives: destroy the navy (done), shatter the air force and missile program (done), and annihilate the defense industrial base (nearly complete). “Our armed forces have been extraordinary,” he said. “There’s never been anything like it militarily.”
The President paused to honor the 13 American heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. Twice in the past month he traveled to Dover Air Force Base to greet their families. Every loved one told him the same thing: “Please, sir, please finish the job.” President Trump gave them his word: “We are going to finish the job and we’re going to finish it very fast. We’re getting very close.”

He thanked steadfast allies – Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain – who stand with America against radical Islamic terror. And he addressed the temporary rise in gasoline prices caused not by U.S. policy, but by Iran’s desperate, deranged attacks on commercial oil tankers and neighboring nations. “This is yet more proof that Iran can never be trusted,” he said.
President Trump also highlighted another recent triumph: the swift, successful stabilization of Venezuela, turning former adversaries into partners in producing and selling vast new supplies of oil and gas. America is now energy independent, no longer dependent on the Middle East, yet still willing to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with friends who share our values.
This is what strong, decisive leadership looks like – the kind that rebuilds our military, protects our people, and projects peace through strength. While past administrations talked, President Trump acted. While weak leaders appeased, he confronted evil head-on. The result? A safer America, a more secure Israel, and a free world that once again sees the United States as the greatest force for good on earth.

Americans of faith, families who cherish life and liberty, and every Constitutionalist who believes in American exceptionalism can rest easier tonight. Our Commander-in-Chief is keeping his promises. Operation Epic Fury is working. The terrorists are on the run. And under President Trump’s leadership, America remains – as it always has been – the world’s best and last hope.
