LAS VEGAS (TNVCNews)- While conservative leaders fight to secure our borders and protect American families, radical Democrats like Minnesota Governor Tim Walz continue to prioritize illegal immigrants over the safety of our children. In a shocking display of misplaced priorities, Walz and Minnesota officials have pardoned a Laotian national convicted of the repeated sexual abuse of a 10-year-old girl over four horrifying years.

Tou Lue Vang, a 42-year-old illegal immigrant, was convicted in 2006 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Between 2002 and 2006, as an adult, he repeatedly assaulted the young victim. Despite the severity of his crimes, Vang avoided jail time and remained in the country for years. Now, Walz’s pardon effectively erases the conviction that would have led to his deportation—putting American communities at further risk.
This isn’t an isolated incident. Just weeks earlier, the same Democrat-led board pardoned another Laotian citizen with a history of robbery, armed robbery, and DUI. Time and again, sanctuary-style policies and clemency for criminals who shouldn’t be here in the first place demonstrate a pattern: open borders and soft-on-crime governance that endangers the innocent.

The hypocrisy is staggering. Walz’s office highlighted a letter from the victim supporting the pardon as carrying “significant weight.” Yet, across the nation, Angel Moms—who have lost children to illegal immigrant crime—are ignored or dismissed when they demand justice and secure borders. Democrats only seem to value victims’ voices when those voices align with their radical agenda of protecting non-citizens at all costs.
Pro-family, pro-life conservatives know that true justice demands protecting the vulnerable—especially our children—from predators. This pardon is more than a policy failure; it is a moral one. When governors like Walz shield child sex offenders from deportation, they have blood on their hands and blood on the hands of every leader who enables this insanity.

In Nevada and across America, we must reject this dangerous ideology. Our constitutional republic was built on the rule of law, not lawlessness that favors those who break it. Secure the border, enforce our immigration laws, and put American families first—before more innocent lives are destroyed by failed progressive experiments.
