While most of Las Vegas enjoyed a peaceful Saturday evening, roughly 1,400 protesters gathered outside the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse on March 28, 2026, waving signs demanding “ICE OUT” and chanting slogans that revealed deep opposition to President Donald Trump’s America First agenda. Organized by Indivisible Las Vegas and backed by progressive groups, the so-called “No Kings” demonstration targeted the President’s strong immigration enforcement, ICE operations, and decisive actions abroad – including efforts to neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat.
The crowd, far smaller than the nationwide hype suggested, listened to speakers like ACLU of Nevada’s Athar Haseebullah decry supposed threats to democracy. One 19-year-old activist declared “No one is illegal” and complained about “stolen land,” while another worried about his granddaughter growing up without the “rights” he imagines under unchecked borders. A handful of counter-protesters stood across Las Vegas Boulevard, waving Trump signs, flying “King Jesus” banners, and singing worship music in defense of faith, family, and constitutional order.

Metro Police reported seven arrests – later corrected to six – for throwing rocks, battery against other protesters, refusing to remove prohibited items, and blocking roadways. Officers maintained order with dozens of vehicles on scene, ensuring the event stayed mostly contained despite the disruptions. Road closures on Las Vegas Boulevard, paid for by organizers, inconvenienced everyday Nevadans going about their lives.
This latest “No Kings” protest fits a pattern of left-wing activism that refuses to accept the 2024 election results or Trump’s clear mandate to secure our borders, deport criminal illegal aliens, and restore American strength at home and abroad. President Trump won Nevada by 46,000 votes, yet radicals in Clark County continue to push open-border policies that strain our schools, hospitals, and law enforcement while endangering American families. Their outrage over ICE doing its constitutional duty – removing those who entered illegally – exposes a fundamental divide: one side believes in sovereignty, the rule of law, and protecting citizens first; the other appears to prioritize foreign nationals and globalist slogans over Nevada families and traditional values.

Pro-life, pro-family conservatives understand what’s truly at stake. Strong leadership that enforces immigration laws protects innocent lives from the chaos of unchecked migration, including fentanyl deaths, gang violence, and the erosion of communities. Similarly, confronting Iran’s nuclear ambitions prevents a terror regime from threatening our allies and homeland. America remains the world’s last best hope precisely because we reject weakness and embrace peace through strength – not endless protests that mock the very republic our Founders built.
The small turnout and arrests serve as a reminder that while a vocal minority clings to resistance, the vast majority of Nevadans and Americans support restoring order, defending our God-given rights, and putting America First. President Trump continues delivering results: secure borders, economic strength, and decisive national defense. These “therapy sessions,” as the White House aptly called them, change nothing. The American people chose constitutional leadership over radicalism, and that verdict stands.
