As May Day approaches, these radicals are calling for a nationwide strike – no work, no school, no shopping – all in the name of toppling the “billionaire two-party system” and imposing their radical vision.
The Sunrise Movement, a youth-driven outfit with documented ties to anti-ICE chaos and Antifa-style organizing, laid out its roadmap in internal slides from a March 2026 membership meeting. Their “grand objective”? A so-called “political revolution” leading to eco-socialism and what they call “multi-racial democracy” – code for dismantling the very system that has made America the freest, most prosperous nation in history. Phase One focuses on stopping “Trump’s grip on power,” building toward mass noncooperation with protests like May Day, and hijacking the 2026 midterms. Later phases escalate to massive strikes in 2028, full “political revolution” by 2029-2031, and their utopian “New System” beyond 2032 – complete with a cheeky slide promising “Happiness (maybe).”
These activists aren’t hiding their contempt for American institutions. They target corporations like Hilton Hotels, pressuring universities to sever ties by labeling them “ICE enablers.” Tactics include flooding hotel reservations only to cancel them en masse – economic sabotage dressed up as activism. At a recent “No Kings Rally” in Minnesota, Indivisible co-founder Ezra Levin openly urged escalation: “On May 1, on May Day, we are saying, ‘No business as usual.’ No work, no school, no shopping. We’re going to show up and say, ‘We’re putting workers over billionaires and kings.’”
May Day has long been the sacred date for communist and socialist movements worldwide – a day of class warfare and revolutionary fervor. President Trump’s administration wisely designated Antifa a domestic terrorist organization in 2025, recognizing its decentralized network of violence, riots, and assaults on law enforcement and ICE. These radicals reject the God-given rights enshrined in our founding documents – life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness under a limited government. They seek to replace our republic with centralized control, Green New Deal fantasies that would crush jobs and energy independence, and identity politics that divide rather than unite. While America remains the world’s last best hope for freedom, homegrown enemies within aim to erode it from the inside, exploiting our openness and tolerance.
