More than 70 Democratic lawmakers, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and others, took to social media demanding the President’s removal. Some called for his Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, claiming his “unhinged” rhetoric threatened “war crimes” against an entire civilization. Rep. Seth Moulton declared Trump had already committed an “impeachable offense,” while Rep. John Larson filed articles of impeachment with 13 charges.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer piled on with criticism of the administration’s handling of Iran, pushing war powers legislation and scheduling briefings on the 25th Amendment. Even after the ceasefire announcement, these critics refused to acknowledge reality: President Trump’s decisive approach – backed by unmatched American military power and innovation like Ghost Murmur – brought a hostile regime to the table without endless American casualties or another forever war.
This is the same tired playbook we’ve seen before. Democrats weaponized impeachment twice during Trump’s first term, turning the Constitution into a political cudgel. Now, with Republicans controlling Congress, their latest outbursts amount to little more than bloviating and bluster – grandstanding to appease their far-left base while ignoring the real dangers posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, terrorism sponsorship, and attacks on global shipping lanes that drive up costs for every American family.
No one wants war, but responsible leaders understand that weakness invites aggression. President Trump’s strong stance protected our ally Israel, safeguarded energy supplies, and proved once again that peace flows from strength – not from the appeasement and endless negotiations that defined previous administrations. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt put it plainly: Trump’s firm language led the Iranian regime to “cave” and agree to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
This episode reveals the stark choice ahead. Democrats’ growing boldness signals what could come if they regain power in the midterms: more lawfare, more attempts to overturn election results through backdoor maneuvers, and less focus on the real priorities of secure borders, economic relief like no tax on tips, and supporting our troops.
Nevada, as a battleground state, sees President Trump returning soon to highlight these very wins for working families. We must reject the radical left’s obsession with removing a duly elected President who is delivering results. Our military heroes – from the special operators who rescued our downed airman to the forces deterring Iran – deserve leaders who back them up, not politicians who undermine them for partisan gain.
The radical left can bluster all they want – but patriotic Americans will continue to stand firm for constitutional order, national security, and the exceptional nation our founders envisioned.
