In the eyes of everyday Americans who love our country, this was classic Trump—confident, humorous, and a direct jab at the “No Kings” protesters who have spent months hysterically claiming our duly elected President is some sort of dictator.
But don’t expect House Democrats or their media allies to see the wit. They’ll scream “disrespect to the Constitution,” “imperial presidency,” and every other tired talking point while conveniently ignoring that they stood and applauded an actual hereditary monarch addressing a joint session of Congress just hours earlier.
The hypocrisy is thicker than the fog over the Potomac. These same voices who call Trump a threat to democracy had no problem rolling out the red carpet for real royalty—complete with curtsies and cheers—yet lose their minds when the White House pokes fun at their baseless smears. But patriotic Americans see through the charade.
